The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed regarding the large quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack status sassa of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area every day. The company level established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
